Where is tatooine open pvp area

I've visited Outlaw's Den on Tatooine. It's an open PvP area and according to an article I've found from before the release, it should contain rare gathering nodes and also chests containing commendations. The place contains no such thing. I didn't find any chests there or gathering nodes. Why is that? The Empire does not see Taris till the 7th planet, and Balmorra is 7th as well for the Republic. That gives each faction an uneven footing. I have explored both planets and found that there are no interaction points between the players of the two factions.

I found that the Tatooine PvP area was totally empty on a Sunday evening, and was actually able to get through all of Nar Shadaa without noticing the PvP area, though I still have to do the bonus series. Its where your quests start to cross. Gt: Death By Karma. User Info: Pteran. Head east back into Jundland, then look north. You'll see a fence with a bunch of Sand People out front. Make your way past them and you'll get to the PvP area. Head east back to Jundland and go south to reach the PvP area.

Republic comes from the north, Empire enters from the south.
