How long does it take to send ACT scores? How do I send scores? When will my colleges and universities receive my scores? What will colleges and universities receive in my score reports?
Wait, what is a super score again? I heard I can choose to send off my score reports to schools before I even test. Scores typically take between two and seven weeks for colleges to receive them once a request has been received by ACT. Once received, requests are processed within one week by ACT. However, colleges and scholarship agencies may take additional time to process the reports once received.
Some colleges, for example, only accept scores from ACT once every two weeks. It is important to submit your ACT scores to colleges and universities in plenty of time to meet deadlines, with online and phone requests being faster than mail options. If you decide to wait to submit your ACT scores to colleges and universities until after you receive your test results or want more than four schools to receive your scores, then you can easily request that your scores be sent through the ACT website, phone, or mail.
If requesting through the website: 1. Log into your account on the ACT website 2. Select the test date for the scores you wish to send 4. Enter the college codes Up to eight per report order request 5. Submit your credit card information for payment. Note: No changes or cancellations can be made after an order request is submitted. This also applies to phone and mail requests.
If requesting over the phone: 1. It is recommended to avoid calling early afternoon on Monday as your wait time will be longer. Use a valid credit card for payment. If requesting by mail: 1. Fill out the request form and send to the below address with applicable fees. Note: To prevent any delays when submitting requests by mail, it is recommended to download and fill out the request form to help ensure that you provide all the necessary information.
If you take the ACT more than once, then you may want to select specific section scores to send to colleges, especially if a college superscores. The ACT allows you to send scores by section opposed to the entire report.
